Their roots began in Portland, Oregon, where they performed as an acoustic guitar- wielding duo at coffee shops and open mics, but upon re-grouping a few years later in San Francisco, they decided to reach beyond the acoustic sounds and create a full band project. Brian brought in electric guitars, and Branden began alternating between acoustic guitar and keys, plus they added the solid, intricate drumming of Emir Simbirdi, and fluid basslines provided by Jochen Straub.  Now gigging regularly at renowned Bay Area venues, they bring depth to their sound with unique arrangements of catchy guitar hooks, piano & Hammond organ sounds, and a grooving rhythm section.  Wish Inflicted has long since outgrown the coffee shop, but still embraces the honest songwriting and strong vocal harmonies of its singer- songwriter past.
